Climate Tech Career Pathways Scholarship

Shaping Our Future, Sustaining Our Planet

A more equitable, sustainable future starts with you.

Climate change is a global problem that requires local solutions. But too often, communities most impacted by climate change are left out of the work and wealth opportunities that the green transition promises. That's why we're investing in future leaders through the Climate Tech Career Pathways Scholarship Fund. To make sure no one is left behind in the growing green economy, we're partnering with Indeed to offer up to $3,500 to help untapped and underrepresented talent break through in the climate and sustainability sectors.
$3,500 to make your green dream a reality
With the right knowledge and skills in tech, you can help build a more equitable, more sustainable future. The Climate Tech Career Pathways Scholarship in partnership with Indeed provides $3,500 for technical training, coursework, and professional certifications in climate and sustainability.

Dream.Org is helping individuals explore a wide array of job and career paths in target areas including energy, manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, and infrastructure. We strongly encourage BIPOC and system-impacted individuals to apply! The application deadline is March 8th, 2024.
“Dream.Org gave me the chance to learn about climate tech and sustainability. I was hesitant at first, wondering how I could fit into a field with no prior experience. But, with the support I received, I got to participate in the LACI Microgrid Maintenance Fellowship Program. I learned about the microgrid industry and its role in producing clean energy. Now, I'm doing work that aligns with my values, and it's all thanks to Dream.Org."
- Stephen Boardley, Climate Tech Scholarship Recipient

Dream.Org Climate Tech Career Pathways Scholarship

Thanks to generous support from our partners, Dream.Org has already provided scholarships to over 600 individuals to help them pursue training, education, and professional development in the clean energy and climate tech sectors. Thus far, more than half of these recipients are justice-impacted.

By tapping into Black and Brown genius and opening doors of opportunity into the green economy, we are building generational wealth for communities of color. Our scholarship recipients go on to play integral roles in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, embracing renewable energy systems, improving energy efficiency, promoting conservation, and developing climate-smart innovation and technology.

"The scholarship is a blessing for me...I am forever grateful for the opportunity and will use it to create the changes we so desperately need in my community and beyond."
- Alcia Shaw, Clean Energy Scholarship Recipient
