Eman Nazir
Senior Associate Climate Investments
Eman Nazir has led a career focused on fighting the climate crisis through an intersectional and justice driven approach. Eman has advocated for climate justice initiatives to help financially empower marginalized communities to better prepare and recover from the impacts of climate change and climate disasters. Eman has advocated for such work with organizations such as CALPIRG Students, the Climate Reality Project, the National Center for Disaster Preparedness at Columbia University, and the Center for Financial Empowerment Fund. Eman has extensively focused on international scale climate research and data analysis through the Energy Institute at Haas UC Berkeley. She learned through her lived experiences of growing up in Lahore, Pakistan, the importance of educating and empowering disadvantaged communities to help them be better prepared to face pertinent societal and political challenges. Eman holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and policy from the University of California, Berkeley and an MA in Climate and Society from Columbia university.
