Brianna Grothe
Transformative Communities Assistant
Brianna Grothe is the Transformative Communities Assistant on the Green for All team! Before joining Dream.org, Brianna received her bachelor's degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work from the University of California, Davis. She served in the Peace Corps as a mathematics teacher in rural Liberia while running women’s empowerment and gender equity projects. Upon her return, Brianna continued to work with youth in the non-profit sector, helping to provide education opportunities for unhoused and underserved youth. With the ever-increasing threats of climate change, Brianna started volunteering to reduce food waste at her local farmers market and taking courses to improve her knowledge of sustainability at Santa Monica City College. She completed her certificate in Organics Aide and is continuing to take classes to improve her knowledge. Brianna is very excited to put her experience in social justice work, knowledge of sustainability, and passion for organization to good use on the Green for All team! In her free time, you can find Brianna sewing her own clothes, tending her garden plot, or going on walks with her husband and her adorable 12 year old pit bull, Bella.
