Mat Hazelberg
Wisconsin Campaign Coordinator

Mat Hazelberg is the Wisconsin Campaign Coordinator at Dream.Org.
Mat is a steadfast harm reductionist who believes drug policy should prioritize public health and well-being over stigma and criminalization. Prior to his current role, he has helped operate Wisconsin's largest syringe service program and worked in case management and outreach for organizations such as Vivent Health and UMOS. He co-founded of PULSE, Wisconsin's first Drug Users' Union, with some like-minded people, in order to create opportunities for Wisconsinites who use drugs to have a meaningful voice in the policies and programs that serve them.
Mat lives on the south side of Milwaukee with his spouse and their son. When he's not working he can typically be found at one of Milwaukee's many concert venues or riding his bicycle around town during Wisconsin's less bitter cold months.
