Lenore Champagne Beirne
Managing Partner, Bright Ventures
Lenore is the Managing Partner of Bright Ventures, a venture capital fund and strategy group focused on Inclusive Innovation.The fund's thesis and approach is built on Lenore's thousands of hours of work with diverse founders and leaders as an executive coach and venture strategist. Lenore studied Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the MBA program at NYU, and went on to co-develop and co-teach graduate coursework on the intersection of bias and innovation. Her Inclusive Innovation framework for identifying and scaling venture opportunities has been applied by enterprises such as Morgan Stanley, Coca-Cola, and Meta. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from NYU Stern focused on Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from American University. She chairs the Investment Committee and serves as Treasurer of the New York Foundation, and sits on a number of private company boards. Lenore and Bright have been featured in Forbes, Fast Company , Yahoo Finance, Black Enterprise and Thrive, among other media outlets.
