John Payne
Chief Financial Officer
John Payne is the Chief Financial Officer.
When he joined Dream in 2019, John brought over 30 years of finance, accounting and management experience, with 20 of those years in the not-for-profit sector.
After serving in the U.S. Army, John honed his skills working full time for various companies in the San Diego area while studying finance at San Diego State University. After relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1996, John has overseen finance, accounting and management for both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. He has overseen $55m operational and $5m capital expenditure budgets in his career. John has been making an impact in the Bay Area not for profit sector since 1998 wherein he has held several executive positions.
When not working on Dream's business, John can be found on Bay Area golf courses or running his real estate investment company.
