John Bowman is the Kentucky Senior Campaign Organizer at Dream.Org.
John leads efforts to advance criminal justice and drug policy reform across the state of Kentucky. After overcoming 24 years of substance use, John began his recovery on October 12, 2018, and has since dedicated his life to advocacy and service. Drawing on his lived experience, he works alongside directly impacted individuals, harm reduction and recovery specialists, law enforcement, business leaders, and the faith community to drive meaningful change. His journey from addiction to advocacy reflects both resilience and a deep commitment to building a stronger, more compassionate future for Kentucky and beyond.
John uses his spare time to work on his golf game. When not working or playing golf, John enjoys spending time driving across Kentucky with his wife.
