Imani Stephens
Senior Communications Associate
Imani Stephens is an experienced multimedia journalist from Compton, California. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication with summa cum laude honors. Additionally, she holds a Master of Legal Studies from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
Imani is committed to sharing and amplifying the voices of underrepresented communities. She has previous experience working as a local television news reporter where she shared countless of stories - crime, justice, education, and community-centered reports. Her work in news has allowed her to report from Washington, D.C., New York City, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Bakersfield, California.
She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists.
