As Executive Assistant to the CEO and COO, Heidi coordinates meaningful connections and paves a smoother path for Dream.org leadership to create change in our communities. Heidi lends her experience in administrative leadership, human resources,non-profit management, and customer service to act as a resource for Dream.org staff, partners, and the public. A lifelong activist and advocate for underserved communities, Heidi earned her B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis in American Government and Public Policy from Boise State University in 2013. Immediately after graduation, Heidi joined AmeriCorps VISTA, where she volunteered her time to an organization that serves people with developmental disabilities. Though she worked in development during her time in AmeriCorps, Heidi became passionate about supporting the staff and volunteers who propped up the organization more directly. This desire to be more involved with employee support led Heidi to serve in non-profit roles such as Member Services Coordinator, Director of Training and Recruitment, and Director of Administration. Heidi is excited to use her many administrative and people support skills to further the Dream.org mission. In her free time, Heidi loves cooking and baking, enjoying live performances, and snuggling with her sweet and energetic fur baby.
