Daniel Dart
Founder, Solo GP fund Rock Yard Ventures
Daniel Dart, founder of Solo GP fund Rock Yard Ventures, transformed his life from homelessness and incarceration to success, exemplifying the power of second chances. An advocate for underserved communities, he has promoted equity and social movements globally. Despite not having an undergraduate degree, he earned master's degrees from the London School of Economics and an MBA from MIT, where he was the first formerly incarcerated student. His research on entrepreneurship in underserved communities has been presented in over a dozen countries and published in multiple outlets, including the World Economic Forum. He is currently working on a book on Second Chance/Fair Chance Hiring that is slated for release in 2025.
