Senior Associate, Career Pathways
Alex Castillo is the Manager of Career Pathways, Dream.Org.
Alex brings a unique blend of experience in tech startups and community partnerships. She began her career as a delivery driver for a fast-growing startup, quickly rising to City Launcher and Community Manager—building out community and supporting operations from the ground up. She holds a degree in International Business and Latin American Studies, with a focus on equitable economic development.
At Dream.Org, Alex manages scholarship and job placement programs that support BIPOC talent in climate tech and innovation. She also serves as the project manager for the organization’s collaboration with Frontline Gig in Pittsburgh, helping to design and implement inclusive career pathways in the green economy.
A fun fact: Alex is a passionate sports enthusiast—she’s active in the local soccer supporter community, plays in a women’s basketball league, and works part-time behind the scenes on live production crews for hockey and basketball games.
