July 16, 2024 — Dream.Org is proud to announce its new partnership with Justice Technology Association (JTA) to help justice tech entrepreneurs scale their impact. This partnership draws on Dream.Org and JTA’s shared mission to bridge the justice gap through innovative technology solutions. By supporting tech entrepreneurs advancing equity within the justice system, Dream.Org and JTA are working to ensure that the law serves everyone, not just those who can afford it.

“Justice inequity can seem too vast to solve, and those working to improve access to justice often feel isolated. Our partnership with Dream.Org is already paying dividends for our members and justice-impacted communities through critical upstream support and awareness building,” said Maya Markovich, JTA co-founder and executive director. “Our collaboration will increase visibility of the justice crisis and galvanize informed funding for those working to solve it.”

JTA, a nonprofit trade association, provides early-stage and ongoing support for tech startups that increase access to legal rights and advances equity for those impacted by the justice system. Dream.Org is working with JTA to support JTA members with access to a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to supercharge growth and impact, including:

  • Monthly programming and coaching: Regular sessions with industry experts to help justice tech startups navigate unique challenges.
  • Impact measurement tools: Resources to quantify and enhance the social impact of member initiatives.
  • Media and market insights: Opportunities for media features and exclusive insights into market trends.
  • Investor introductions: Connections to investors who are specifically interested in justice tech innovation.
  • Specialized curriculum and resources: Access to proprietary databases and educational resources that support the development of impactful solutions.

"We are thrilled to partner with Justice Technology Association to break down systemic barriers and expand access to life-saving legal resources,” said Janos Marton, Chief Advocacy Officer at Dream.Org. “Together, we are committed to leveraging technology to democratize justice and provide support to communities historically harmed or underserved by the legal system."

JTA membership is open to impact-focused tech startups building solutions for a more equitable legal system. Prospective members can apply at www.justicetechassociation.org.

In addition to providing JTA member benefits, Dream.Org will provide funding to support the Justice Tech Accelerator at LexLab at UC Law San Francisco, co-produced by JTA. Applications are open until August 11, 2024.
