Kandia Milton
Government Affairs Director
Kandia Milton is the Government Affairs Director at Dream.Org.
With more than 20 years of experience in policy and government affairs, he has served as a senior congressional staffer and as Chief of Staff for the City of Detroit, where he managed multiple City agencies and intergovernmental relations. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with an English minor from Niagara University.
At Dream.Org, Kandia previously led policy initiatives for the Justice programs for more than two years and now helps strengthen Dream.Org’s presence on Capitol Hill, in state capitols, and in city halls nationwide while also managing relationships across the political spectrum, including progressive, conservative, and law enforcement partners. He brings both professional expertise and lived experience to this work, grounded in a belief that effective public policy should improve people’s quality of life.
