Ashley Jackson
Leadership Organizer
Ashley Jackson is the Leadership Organizer at Dream.Org. Ashley is a justice reform advocate and nonprofit leader with experience spanning reentry, advocacy, program development, and support for children and families impacted by incarceration. Her career has included work with the Center for Community Transitions in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she supported justice-impacted individuals and families and later continued her commitment through board service. Most recently, she served as Director of Operations at WE GOT US NOW, a national nonprofit and innovation hub led by, and about, children and young adults impacted by parental incarceration. A proud Aggie, Ashley attended North Carolina A&T State University. Ashley’s connection to this work is deeply personal as the daughter of a formerly incarcerated parent who spent more than three decades in federal prison and who became a member of Dream.Org’s Empathy Network in 2022. She brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work. At Dream.Org, she focuses on developing directly impacted leaders, strengthening pathways for continued engagement and leadership, and building partnerships and systems that help turn lived experience into lasting change. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys challenging herself in reformer Pilates and has completed multiple 10Ks, even though she’s still convincing herself that she actually likes running.
