Amanda Hall
Chief Advocacy Officer
Amanda Hall is the Chief Advocacy Officer at Dream.Org.

As Chief Advocacy Officer at Dream.Org, Amanda guides the strategic direction for the organization's advocacy and campaign work, aligning efforts to build power, influence policy, and win campaigns. She leads Government Affairs, Organizing, and Communications as an integrated system, and supports program strategy to ensure coordinated, measurable impact.

She spent years as Director of the largest women’s recovery center in Kentucky, supporting women with substance use disorders, and also oversaw two low-barrier shelters for unhoused people. She later became a Policy Strategist at the ACLU of Kentucky, where she led the Kentucky Smart on Crime coalition and co-founded the Smart Justice Advocates, the state’s first advocacy group made up of directly impacted Kentuckians. Through this work, Amanda has worked in coalitions to pass more than 20 pieces of bipartisan legislation on drug policy and criminal justice in states across the country. Amanda holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville.

In her spare time, Amanda loves hiking through the hills of Appalachia near her eastern Kentucky home, discussing all things Appalachian history, doting on her four dogs and two cats, and diving into horror movies and books.
