Yuri Sadiki-Torres is the Senior National Organizer at Dream.org. Growing up in the Bronx within a family of social activists shaped Yuri's lifelong commitment to community organizing and social justice work. This foundation has driven her career with the City of Oakland, Community Service Society of New York, Faith in Action East Bay, and multiple Community Land Trusts. She has led and contributed to powerful campaigns including No Coal in Oakland, housing policy reform, reentry advocacy, and the fight against Stop and Frisk. At Dream.org, Yuri brings leadership development tools and resources to underrepresented communities, with particular focus on the critical intersection between environmental and criminal justice. When she's not organizing, Yuri trains for marathons, works out at the gym, or makes time to visit her family in NYC for her dad's Puerto Rican home cooking.
